2700 City fans travelled to the Hawthorns on Saturday and I’m sure they expected a tough game. What most fans didn’t bank on was a 45 mins where City gave the ball away far too cheaply or pinged the ball in to touch. At half-time it was 1-0 to WBA which was a fair reflection on the half for some fans it was worse as they booed the team off. We have averaged 1500 away fans so far this season, so with 2700 you will have a fair few who don’t watch City away from home very often hence the negative reaction. Second half was a step up for City and they started to take the game to the home side. Tim Krul who will admit the first 45 mins were not his best in a City shirt made some game changing saves in the second half. From the Daniel Farke substitutions came the City equaliser (McLean assist/Rhodes goal) thoroughly deserved to be fair. Still in the top 3 with 2 home games coming up. Onwards and Upwards. OTBC
