“Patience” “Keep the Faith” “Work in Progress”  I’m sure most fans echo those words but after the first half Tuesday night some fans will have started to question this. At times in the first half the pace of the game resembled a pre season friendly. Knowing in advance that Burton would “Park the Bus” it would surely be just a matter of time before we scored. Sadly the shots on target column only read 2. Players trying to curl the ball into the top corner only to see it sail into row x too many times was not good to watch. Added to this we had substitutions being made 15 mins too late. Many fans blamed the ref and yes he had a poor second half but most of them in this league leave a lot to be desired. All in all Tuesday night was one to forget…quickly. Positives came in the form of consecutive clean sheets and 4 points from two home games. We move onto Sheff Utd away Saturday which will no doubt be a physical encounter, so don’t be surprised if Grant Hanley makes his debut. My prediction is a nervy hard fought 2-2. Onwards and Upwards. OTBC.
