6 points from two home games, everyone must be happy with that surely. Well I am but I’m sure there will be some fans that are still moaning that we are not playing like Barcelona (Celtic are quite familiar with their style of play i believe). Our ability to kill off teams as early as possible (we should have been 4-0 up in the first half last night) is still a problem for me. Tired legs and too many miss placed passes made for a nervy final 20 minutes last night. Good to see Jacob Murphy on the score sheet again. Both the Murphy twins are on a steep leaning curve but they are both extremely talented players who will only get better. The #ncfc fans need to give them time to progress so my message to the moaning NFN’S in the City stand near the dugout is “Get behind the lads otherwise keep it shut” #idiots
We move on to the City Ground Saturday. Always a popular away day hence why we sold out fairly quickly again. Don’t think we will see our new number 9 playing at his old club which I’m sure he will be keen to do. Need to keep this unbeaten run going so my prediction for Saturday is 2-2……..OTBC
Have to agree with your write up mate, however my only issue is appearing to go so negative which inevitably encourages teams to come at us as we havent ‘killed sides off’. The introduction of Mulumbu last night is the prime example. Instead of replacing Jacob with his brother or Jerome with Lafferty as both were struggling AN too often goes defensive. We have scraped through this week however a Newcastle or Barnsley wouldve punished us IMO. We are as good as any side in this league when we attack so lets see plenty more….OTBC
Loved Jacob Murphy’s cheeky goal. Also good to see Cam applauding his work after Saturday when he gave the boy a gobful for missing, like he himself never has. They did all look shot at the end though, like someone mentioned on Canary Call it looked like Wigan has their own climate as they still had the energy to try for an equaliser.
