With a week to go before NCFC line up against Cardiff City at Carrow Road and City fans would have been hoping for some new faces in the starting line up come 1500 next Saturday. However as is normal these days with a last day transfer window the only NCFC business was to loan out 3 players to get some first team experience. The arrival of Nelson Oliveira to fill the vacant number 9 shirt was greeted with the usual mixed views from the Canary fans. Only time will tell how good this guy is and let’s hope he nets 10-15 goals to help with our promotion push. Our new CEO gave a couple of interviews for the local Radio and the clubs TV channel yesterday. As usual his words divided opinion and clearly the PR department at Carrow Road had a big hand in the script. Jez Moxey has only been in the job for 1 month and is getting to grips with the aftermath of David Mc Nally walking out. So we should IMO judge the guy at the end of the season at the very earliest. We still have a few players who were hoping to leave in this transfer window and clearly that didn’t happen for them so Alex Neil has a job to handle that between now and the next Transfer window. The Jez Moxey interview can been seen in the link below.
