I have finally got “that” defeat out of my system. After losing and the manner of the defeat to the Red half of Merseyside (it took me weeks to get over that one) last season I don’t think many #ncfc fans would have expected to this happen again. However this is NCFC after all and what seems like the impossible occasionally turns into reality before our very eyes. Newcastle away was one of the 4 away games I will miss this season, respect to all the City fans that travelled to the game. By all accounts Newcastle should have been 3-0 up by half time, instead we went in 1-1 at HT, which turned into a 1-3 lead by the 70th minute thanks to goals from Cameron Jerome and Jacob Murphy. The fact we lost this game from this position will give many football fans outside the fine City a good laugh no doubt. Trying to park the bus (having 3 central defenders on the pitch) for the last 15 mins was always going to be risky given the frailties of our defence. I always believe you defend from the front, so taking Jacob Murphy off and bringing on Ryan Bennett was a mistake for me. Losing 4-5 to the Red Sh…  last season had an effect on the team in the following games (2 points from 7 games), let’s hope history doesn’t repeat itself. We go to Wolves on Saturday via our favourite away pub in West Bromwich, for the  1730 kick off. If Klose is back then I can see City coming away with all 3 points and a 2-1 win, without him I will go for a nervy 2-2………OTBC
