Not the points haul most City fans were expecting I guess. Fulham  without a manager (at the time) seemed like our best bet to break the Fulham away hoodoo. However it was the same old story at Craven Cottage, promised so much but in the end nil points. Leeds at home I’m told ( I was away in Gibraltar for a few days so missed the game) was a poor game but City shaded it and should have won the game but Dirty Leeds made the best of their one chance. Onto Sheff Wed away. Neil Adams played a diamond midfield formation for this game on the widest pitch in the division ??? The first half was poor by City standards, even against a very poor SWFC. Once City ditched the diamond formation and brought on Redmond and O’Neil it was all Norwich. Even though we battered them City were unable to get the goal to win the game.

3 points finally came our way on Friday night against lowly Bolton. Even though the away side went for it unlike some teams at CR who have parked the bus Norwich were always in control apart from the last 10 mins. A goal in each half from our leading goal scorer Cameron Jerome had City cruising to 3 points. On 73 minutes O’Neil (on a yellow and a warning) and Jerome (knee injury) went off to be replaced by Johnson and Grabban this did alter the dynamics and Bolton sensed this. One poor header back to the keeper allowed Bolton to score and this set up a nervy final 8 minutes for the home fans.Man of the match for me Gary O’Neil.

Tuesday night sees the long trip up to the North East and the delights of Middlesbrough. This will be a tough away game (they all are) and it will be interesting to see how Neil Adams sets the team up. If you use the diamond formation IMO Howson should be at the top of the diamond. My prediction for Tuesday night is 1-1……..OTBC.
